The hammock scene… I couldn’t breathe! There’s so much symbolism. Supposedly, when they put the flower into each other’s hair, it symbolized a relationship/marriage. The way they are opposite each other in the hammock, but still lightly touching, making it seem so intimate. The darkness of the scene, as they confess to each other. When Oh-Aew sat up, the way he looked down at Teh. Ugh! I loved it!!

ITSAY was written specifically for them and taken from several interviews they did with them. Lots of their stories are mixed in with the drama. I recommend watching the behind the scenes. They are about a half hour each and I think it will help you understand why this show is so different. The characters were written to match their personalities which makes it feel so natural.
