I don't think this confidence is totally new. I think he is just the the quiet type that didn't have anything to really fight about. Because he started reading people with his brother (ep 1) and it has just built from there. Wonder if being pure blood he has like a special power to see lies/BS when its told to him. I do wish it was longer without the cuts because it could be so good if we could flesh some of the scenes out more. I really wish we knew the real motivation of the "best friend/dean". She seems really suspicious but I don't know that we have enough time left to explain her issues.

Idk but I feel like it depends on the vampire maybe *shrugs* I wish the eps would be longer but at the same time it's nice to just get right to the point lol
