Did that title get your attention? Good! (Seriously though, there is a giveaway at the end of this post!)

A good amount of folk have voiced their concerns about my future content being exclusively created for the updated rules of D&D. I can assure you, as long as my community voices their desire for 2014 content, they shall get it!

In summary, I aim to release content for both rulesets whenever possible. Sure, monsters for the most part only got a bit of a change in layout, but things like Player Races (or Species) work now a bit differently. So for my regularly updated player races I will approach it in the following way: I will release the modern version first and follow it by a legacy (2014 rules) version later that month.

I do plan additional content in the future that may be exclusive for the new rules, but I will always try to make it backwards compatible to some extent.

I want to stress that I will follow the will of my community, and I hear folk when they say that they no longer wish to support WotC and therefore turned their back on the new rules. I also understand that folk don’t want to switch rules just yet if there is so little content for the new rules available just yet. No matter which rules of D&D 5e you want to use, I got you covered!

Oh yeah, also here are 200 free memberships for a free month of DM Tuz content. Take a look and hopefully stay for a while! 🔥 (Grab them while they're hot!) 🔥

That's fair, but I feel like any supporter of 2024 is saying WOTC didn't do anything wrong. More importantly, those who don't know your stance may see you as a supporter of WOTC and be alienated from looking at your content. It's just really dicey, in imho.

I elected to do the 2024 content first mostly to get myself more accustomed to the updated rules and the new layout they use. It also gives me an opportunity to polish the 2014 version a bit further.

If you don't mind me asking, why not do it 2014 -> then 2024 after? Noted ofc, if 2024 is easier to do first I say go for it!
