Dolls (5e)

Yes, we are on the roll now!

The next update will feature their racial feats and then we will get everything for the public release ready! After that, you won't have to wait long for the next set. We are going high gear now!

This is the first set illustrated by Dettan. Keep your eyes open for more of them in the future!

Enjoy!

re-reading let me be clear: this was not meant to be "dissing" it is just that unlike other editions the "construct" tag on a race only means you cannot be healed or that you can be trapped by a magic circle aimed at constructs. it has no other rules mention. If you want to be immune to mind-affecting stuff no mind-affecting things say it does not affect constructs. It is why the "fey clause" exists for elves and such. The only outliers are healing things which specifically mention constructs and undead. 5e is usually pretty consistent in that. Almost no source says "this does not affect X" it usually the target that says "i am immune/resistant to X and here is how" Constructs and undead are different only for the healing whoch is why i thought you went in with a forward plan on how to let them heal. As far as patches go... removing the construct trait is more effective than having a whole paragraph saying "you can still be affected by healing" because uh... almost nothing else affects them either in any specific way. It is also why the reborn are not undead and the warforged are not constructs. ┐('~`;)β”Œ i therefore apologize for the previous message i did not mean it to sound dismissive.

so... no alternate ways for self-healing or ways to do maintenance on you from other members of the team just the usual autognome solution... ah... well... the quest continues. Thanks for this anyway. And good luck for the future.

Thanks for catching that! I made the appropriate edits that clarifies that these kind of spells still effect you. So this should relsolve this ... i hope.

uh... how do you heal them? Warforged get away with it by not having the "construct" creature tag. πŸ˜… This basically means the dolls heal only between 1/3 and 1/6 of their total health with each short rest or with long rest or only with class features that do not have the "this does not affect constructs or undead" tag which most healing has. πŸ˜… I see no other way for them to heal. Apologies for butting in even if you banned me from discord (for everybody else's knowledge who is reading this: totally my fault) but this was a race i was really waiting for.
