Old Dragon Gods - Aleksandyr & Brilliant Dragons

Consider this similar to a Dragon Magazine article about a deep dive about many of the gods featured in the settings of DND. In this case it would be focused on the old tyrannic rulers of Altland, the same setting of my Forgotten Foes and Patreon Game.
As you can see, this update is a bit sparse on artwork. Here is where I want to pick your brains. What kind of things would you want to see illustrated aside the dragon god itself? Do you want illustrations showing more iconography, would you prefer more artwork for the creatures related to the diety? Let me know about your ideas either in the comments of the supplement discussion channel on the discord! Your input will shape future entries in this new series (and will decide what kind of artwork I will add to this supplement in the near future!)

Sliding in new divinities works for my setting and I was looking to flesh out some ancient history so this works for me. Even if you can't use the divinity wholesale, there's little interesting bits of religious lore and character that patrons could pull to develop the deities they already have. In terms of artwork, I think iconography would be awesome, unless one of the creatures has a really unique appearance that's worth showing off. I think it would have been really cool to see one of those celestial dragons.

I left enough wiggle room in there for people to pick and choose aspects of these as they please or use them as inspiration. This first one in particular is already relatively close to a draconic deity from the official material ;D

2023-04-15 05:04:15 +0000 UTCIts a neat idea, I think for me some side creatures might be neat but deities are hard to use since they can't be as easily dropped into other settings I am running. So I have that bias.
