I’ve been working hard behind the scenes this year developing two powerful strategies that could take our community to the next level and I want to hear what people would more like to be a part of.
Option 1: Start a Non-Profit Organization
This would be built around the core of what we already do—preserving culture and history, raising funds, bringing people together and building the first off grid community. The benefits are we can accept donations, everything becomes tax-deductible, and we gain access to new resources. It’s a long-term, sustainable path, but with some legal and logistical hurdles.
Option 2: Launch a Männerbund
This would be a modern revival of the traditional Indo-European band of men. A brotherhood focused on cooperation, wealth, and shared purpose. Think of it as a digital and physical tribe: online courses, financial strategies, collaboration, and meetups. I’ve already created a detailed roadmap for this, focused on action and results.
I’d love to launch both, but I don't think I will be able to with the time and resources I have now.

I'm in favor of the männbund. Results will be slower, but like others said it will allow those serious in action to rise with each other. I've seen plenty of NPO, take the tax write offs and donations and do very little with them. Especially if we aren't all together and are scattered about. The benefits won't be seen by most. If we are truly building a strong community we need people to rise up to the plate to succeed on various fronts not just live and die by donations. Its harder and will fail if people aren't serious but then I think its doomed either way. When we have members strong and finally come together will we have the resources and know how to built a functioning community.

2025-09-29 23:40:29 +0000 UTCI vote mannerbund, but don’t know how much I would be able to bring to the table. But the need for action is a priority in this climate. A non profit would be a good starting point. Agreed that all that is a bit much for one person to start by one self.
