As far as character ideas go... hmm hm hmm. Well, if you're looking old-school, perhaps someone from the old Gargoyles cartoon? Had some stellar character design. If going more recent... the Hellaverse (Hazbin Hotel + Helluva Boss) has some excellent goth/punk characters.
