Magma the Dragon + Caldera Form 🌋👻

[FINAL UPDATE] SHE IS DONE!!! I AM GOING TO KEEP HER AD AN OC!! Sorry guys! I just got too attached to this character after spending WAY TOO MANY HOURS these past two weeks Imma regret not keeping her!

• Let me introduce you to MAGMA THE DRAGON AND HER CALDERA FORM! The Caldera Form is her Ghost Volcano form, which is when the Volcano finished errupting, a large volcanic crater that forms when the ground above a volcano's magma chamber collapses. You might encounter the Caldera form only at night though! Magma's height is as big as the boulders of the mointains she lives on! She lives very close to volcano craters, you mostly would confuse her as a boulder when you pass by one- IF she doesn't move!

[Update] Added another coloring wip image!! Guys I have to be honest with all of you- I might keep her as an OC. During these two weeks I have been drawing her I started to grow attached to her way too much and I think I will regret if I will put her out to adoption. 😭 But I def will do another lava themed adopt to compensate this one!

[Update] Changed the pose of the top left expression cus I didn't like how it looked before and hug change on the main dragon design as well! Added one more sketch, one more linework image and one work in progress of the coloring! Will probably do one version with and without fire mane. I am really starting to fall in love with her. Uh oh- I hope you guys won't hate me if I might end up keeping her in the end.

[Update] Added another sketch with more progress! now you can see the rough pattern of the glowing/melting lava on her body! I also decided to extend the expressions to a bust/half body! stay tuned!! 👁️

[Updated text] Slowly starting to figure out her proportings and finally found a good pose. These two things are always the most important parts for me in a drawing + expressions as the whole drawing bases on them. I had a hard time in these past few days with that as I was trying to figure all this out. I drew different poses and also wanted to find good expressions.

Also like I announced before on socials, I am struggling to keep my art looking like "sonic-style"- that's why after this adopt, I wanna go back to draw canon characters and my ocs again. and pause creating adopts for a while so I can focus on my sonic style. At least I hope by drawing canon and ocs that will help dfdg.

HOWEVER, despite the difficulties I faced with this adopt until now, I have a clear idea about her design!! Her body is gonna be covered in lava pattern. On some places more melted and others the stones will be more solid. More or less like the ground of a Volcano! Her tail, and from her chest and neck as well her head and probably her wrists and other parts of her body will erupt flames/hot lava will melt down from her! You'll see what I have in mind as soon I update the post with more steps/wips! Thank you for your patience!
