Announcing A Skylark Guide To Adventure!

Alright everybody! After a long time of wanting to start this project, itโ€™s finally here, the project Iโ€™ll be working on in tandem with Skylark. I hope all my D&D nerds like it, and itโ€™s also Skylark related! ๐Ÿ˜† and spoiler free of course.

Any how! I present to youโ€ฆ

The Bestiary will be a Dungeons & Dragons supplement, where Iโ€™ll be releasing a monster from the world of Skylark every other week, along side their stat block.

Iโ€™ve been wanting to make a bestiary pretty much since I started skylark, and I thought, why not also make it something people can have fun with? Hopefully this will also help with the world building, as Iโ€™ll be dropping some nuggets of story in there every now and then ๐Ÿ˜ˆ.

But thatโ€™s not all! For every monster Iโ€™ll also be releasingโ€ฆ

The vault will contain 1 item in some way related to the theme of the monster, further fleshing out the world and allowing me to show you things I know exist in this world, but that I might never have the chance to show you.

The Goal

The goal is to make enough of these monsters to be able to justify kickstarting a physical book in the future, and for that I need your help. Iโ€™m not an expert at D&D, but I do love to run my own games and make my own monsters and encounters, but I alone will not be enough. If you play test some of these, or you see any glaring issues, please let me know.

All monsters and items are in a sort of alpha period, as they might need rebalancing every now and then.

Tiers

Now sadly, I canโ€™t give all this away for free, and hereโ€™s how it will look for every tier

• Soldiers: you guys will get the finished monster illustrations, but no stat block
• Warriors: you guys will get the full monster page with stats and lore
• Champions: you guys get access to the Vault of Trinkets, and this will be replacing the helmets
• Heroes: as usual, you guys will get it all, and will also get to see the sketches and unfinished pages
