2023-11-27 04:50:32 +0000 UTCAbsolutely fantastic episode!! Yes when this aired after the Super Bowl it was a BIG DEAL! Jimmy you not loving the movie side plot isn’t surprising to me, it only happened because the “suits” of NBC wanted some “star power” added to this episode since it was gonna be the most watched episode live. The show runners didn’t wanna add cheap cameos so this side plot was the compromise to get other celebrities inserted in this episode. Still great payoff like you said though with the strengthening of Jim & Pam’s relationship plus Andy dealing with his Angela issues.

It came on after the Superbowl and me and my friends had a blast watching it!! That opening is chaotic hilarity at its finest!!!
