That contrast between Jack and Hannibal fighting, cutting to them 12 weeks earlier eating dinner in the same room, is masterful.

“You’ve been hyping up season two..” *literally the first scene happens*
Yeah, season 2 might be my favorite. 3 is a contender for sure, but I just love how the character dynamics play out in 2, and how the opening lets you know from the beginning how far this is all going to go to shit.

Best line in the whole reaction

That opening blew us all away. I might be mistaken, but I think the reason they put that in the beginning was to try for a ratings boost since season 1 didn't do very well and so they attempted to hook new and returning viewers by teasing them.

The guy you recognized but couldn't place is Jonathan Tucker. He had minor roles on Person of Interest and Westworld. In the former, he was one of the numbers early on, and in the latter he was the host who William killed right after his "you think you know death" speech.

I wouldn't necessarily put too much stock into how things are by the time of Silence of the Lambs. Yes, this story takes place roughly before that story, but not before any specific version/adaption of it. They may very well take some liberties with the characters and the world.

Only watched the opening scene. I am nervous. Almost too nervous to continue.
