Pretty much spot on with your thoughts. Such a great intro for a character that it would be a crime against television not have her in more episodes. Funny you mentioned Alias, because she was the reporter that worked with/had the hots for Will in that show.

Awesome! One of my favorite episodes this season for sure. Absolutely love Sameen Shaw and I am so glad Root is back. The actress who plays Shaw, Sarah Shahi, has been in a few shows, one of which was actually Alias. Funny enough Amy Acker, who plays Root, was in Alias as well lol.

I don't remember all of the technical names and words for this show, but I love the show overall. I don't remember hearing them mention Northern Lights in this episode, but I obviously missed it, and I do vaguely remember hearing the name throughout the series.

This only includes information from this episode: Control is apparently a "person" Shaw wants to meet. Not an organization. And it's not the ISA either (they are just a part of it). - The actual program or organization is called "Northern Lights." (mentioned in this episode) They are getting their information from the entity called "research". (relevant list). And they get their agents from ISA (like Shaw or Hersh) or the CIA, NSA etc. The Special Counsel is part of the upper management and Control is supposed to be...well...in control of the northern lights program. 👍👍

Oh... right. I forgot the technical name of the organization. I don't think it was actually mentioned in this episode though. I remember control. That is who Shaw believed she worked for.
