On Walter and Astrid's relationship, I think he now sees her as his lab assistant/partner, and he's getting more and more attached to her. Remember his assistant when he was younger, died in a lab accident. He probably blamed himself for it. Now putting Astrid at risk, it terrified him.

Walter Bishop is one of my favourite characters from any tv show, and a good lot of that is thanks to the actor’s performance. While I wasn’t hooked yet on the story for a lot of season 1, the characters kept me interested until it did(I’m thankful for that. Season 2 & 3 alone of Fringe was enough to push Fringe into my top 10 favourite shows of the last 18 years/21st century so far). Looking forward to rewatching. 😁👍
