Yes, there are many things you are unaware of, as it should be. Love your reactions to Adama and Roslin, it's a perfect situation for conflict and suspicion. Sometimes the small details get overshadowed by the big picture and even the great leaders can be blinded by their own agendas.

That said, we see that something more is happening here and it's not completely unreasonable for Roslin and her followers to go down this path. They are doing it for the greater good and Adama knows that Roslin knows that he lied about Earth.
