And this isn't my original observation but in Lost/Leftovers bingo this episode is a *lot* like The Brig. Ritualistic journey to remote cabin w villainous captive, Kevin-as-Sawyer in this case, resisting the inevitable final act and demanding answers from Patti/Cooper, who keeps insisting they're all damned alike. Maybe throw in Dog Guy as a Locke stand-in being a kinda creepy 'guardian angel'. Lindelof was working through some stuff y'all
