It gets much much better during the second episode. High-stakes political schemes, crazy gladiator fights and complex interpersonal relationships. Everything to make it just the right amount of spicy.

Some other shows that might be cool are: Black Mirror, Fargo, Sherlock, The Handmaid's Tale, Twin Peaks, Firefly, and Orphan Black. You could also watch the rest of Band of Brothers, Broadchurch, or Legion.
