Something VERY important, in regards to Jack anyway, back in season 2 it was heavily implied that he DID NOT want to have children, and that Sarah was not happy about it but wanted to please him anyway. It most likely was one of the main factors of their divorce. It makes it even better that after trying to jump off the bridge, Sarah visits Jack and she is pregnant (in real life she was, serendipity) Why didn't Jack want children? Well obviously his father issues made him very insecure about his ability to be a good father. Here, we find out that Jack does HAVE WHAT IT TAKES to be a father. It's not overt, but the bits are there that give depth to the characters, and I fucking love that.

Well, I knew the List was going to get interesting. Remember that Eko's brother's body was also missing from the plane, after Eko had confirmed the corpse was there to begin with when Charlie took him to the Beachcraft initially, then he went to check the plane again as Eko kept seeing his dead brother about. It suggests that like Ben, the Smoke Monster likes to play mind games. And not making excuses for Jack, but like the Others and Ben, now Jacob is playing mind games with him.

I don't know... I love the series finale for so much reasons, so i would rank It over 06x09. But It is indeed one of the finest on the show.

This is the perfect complementation to 01x05, White rabbit. Such an amazing match between Episodes... Locke pretty much knowing everything about what is going on, Jack's Dad telling him he doesn't have what It takes, Jack finding his purpose to be there... Watching these two in a row os just great.

I dont like that episode very much. The magical lighthouse feels kinda cheep to me.

episode 9 is arguably the best episode of the season... So don't forget that?

Is this as good as Locke's episode? No, but I think it's a nice episode and I remember being very intrigued in where Jack's story was about to go. Hurley and Jack combo was the complete oppose of the Sawyer and Locke trek but it was charming. Also, the Jack and his son story was clearly Jack being the father he wished his dad was for him... and it was beautiful.
