You likely won't be on if you became a patron recently. He still has the same roll call from a little after patreon got up and running.

"Fuck it!" Lol, we have all been there.... We know that Eloise helped Desmond before, and that he can change things he lived before, or things he "sees." His mind is dislocated from time. However, if a person is going to die, they are going to die sooner or later, no matter what, and he told Charlie he had to die at the Looking Glass station for Claire to leave the island. Obviously that didn't happen, maybe something got changed by Desmond's involvement or precognition. So Eloise is adamant and dead set to send Daniel to the island because she doesn't want some things to change. Who knows?

I'm not sure if anything went wrong but I don't see my name on the Patreons list. Great reaction though!

Can't imagine having a baby knowing that there's a very likely chance that you will kill that child at some point , then you basically lead that child to his death because you believe it is fate and has to happen that way ...... There's a whole lotta WTF is happening throughout this entire show , but it gets even crazier .

One of my favorite episodes. Daniel is such a tragic character.

She wasn't necessarily wrong that they had to go back, Daniel just thinks they were supposed to go to the present. Eloise knew the losties would show up in 1977 because she already lived it. she knew sending them back would cause the chain of events leading to daniel being shot, thats why she talks about sacrifice with Charles. You asked why she sent him anyways?
Because "whatever happened, happened" she knew in her past daniel ended up on the island, therefore at some point he is going to be sent to the island. When she heard Charles was trying to send him to the island she knew she had to push him to go because thats what these time laws demand. dan has to end up at the island and he has to end up being shot, and if she doesnt make sure this happens she risks changing the past. And as we all know... changing the past risks the future.
Thats also why she said this to ben in the church.
Ben: what happens if i cant get them all to come back?
Eloise: then god help us all.
She knew if all of them didnt go back the way it originaly happened when she was younger the past would be changed, and the future would be changed or cease to exist.
