2017-10-22 15:40:07 +0000 UTCYes the season is LESS filler, because at this point they knew they were ending it after season 6. Another reason for the greatness of this season is the paradigm shift from flashbacks to flashforwards, that keeps it fresh, interesting, and adds another layer of mystery to everything, a different kind of mystery than what came before now. Lastly, this is the Ben season, without any doubt. Actually, one other last thing, I agree this episode sets it up for what's to come.
