To answer your question about moonlight, as far as we know at this point nocturnal activity does not fall under normal Titan behavior and thus it is probably influenced by either the Beast Titan or some unknown factor. (Edit: Now that Erwin and Levi and are your top2, I am so looking forward to your reaction to the No Regrets OVA after you finish s2.)
