Yep that's another way of watching it too. And myself, I think just before 10 is the best way.

2018-03-19 03:31:48 +0000 UTCThe wait between season one and two was so long that I was able to watch the show, forget almost everything that happened, re-watch the entire show, then like a year later I watched the entire show AGAIN after the second season was announced so I could have everything fresh in my mind.

Even better than this season, it will be a hell of a ride. Regarding Ilse's Notebook episode, watch it whenever you like. If you want to watch it as it was released in the manga, then watch it before season 2. If you want unadulterated mind fuckage, wait until just before episode 4 of season 2. It also fits nicely just before episode 10 of season 2. Or just wait after season 2, but the episode's impact and relevance might be diminished by then. Your choice and preference, and you will understand why people recommend various ways of watching it.

I think it looked like that to whomever exclaimed that. What was probably happening was a massive release of energy as Annie formed that crystalline structure around herself? So much energy/heat that it was, idk, melting Eren's skin? Okay but this is such a great scene. We see Eren at his most inhuman ("I will destroy the entire world" and literally about to EAT Annie) and at the same time we see Annie at her most human and vulnerable (which, like I said, stops him dead in his tracks). Lordddd I could go on forever about Eren and Annie based on their scenes together so far.

2018-03-18 04:09:17 +0000 UTC1. Erwin 4. Levi 5. Annie. Look at that, all my favorites in your top 5 :'). For me in s1 it's 1. Annie 2. Erwin + Levi. I agree with your thoughts on Erwin. Not only is he a man of unwavering convictions, but he has the absolute faith and trust of people like Levi and Hanji. As for Annie, I just love her. Human and Titan Annie is beautiful, deadly, intelligent, powerful, and so lonely. I feel for her. If we assume that she has always been a spy and a titan shifter since 5 years back when the wall came down...I mean, damn, she was 11 years old. (Fun fact: we first see 11 y/o Annie standing in line for food rations in ep2.) An 11 year old killer and titan. How messed up is that. (And I appreciate that Eren also has a soft spot for Annie. In the midst of his greatest Eren Rage ever, he saw her crying and froze, his rage gone in an instant.) Anyway, can't wait for your s2 reactions. Some insanely amazing stuff coming up.

2018-03-18 03:55:15 +0000 UTCI'll say it again: Ilse's Notebook is way more effective when watched between seasons 1 and 2. No Regrets works whenever but since it is a 2-parter it should be watched in one sitting.

I feel a lot of people didn't really pay enough attention to Erwin in S1, but knowing you and the kind of characters you like, I shouldn't be all that surprised.
