2018-03-14 19:23:23 +0000 UTCIlse's notebook draws attention to something that the show was never trying to hide in the first place. I think that watching it before season 2 amplifies the season's tense atmosphere. Watching it after does nothing and makes the episode itself pointless.

"I assume she'll be superior in titan form as well." Safe to say this was confirmed in their first fight in the forest (during most of which she had a handicap). Her hand-to-hand combat skills are superior. If she actually wanted Eren dead, it would have been over for Titan Eren from the start.
