Patron Only Series

I was here for Walking Dead and Lost kept me on. I am not fans of most of the new potential shows, so financially I may have to remove my subscription on patreon if I don't see myself watching any of the videos until there is a show I want to watch. But its not like that will hurt him financially lol. I was along for the ride, but all good rides must come to an end I suppose.

Does this mean that folks that don't like Anime will have to wait three more weeks, i.e. go the entire month of February, without a new show? Gotta say that that is risky...more than a few folks who joined for Lost might bounce.

You should definitely watch them both. BSG starts off with a self contained 2 part miniseries that is only a few hours long. It's a good taste of what's to come if you want to get a taste. The Leftovers is also amazing. Top notch writing and acting.

Yeah. That was what I meant. I was under the impression that this is a patron only series. If non-Patreon people can still view them at a later date, then I have no problems with it.

On paper, I ought to like The Leftovers but I just do not... So, I’ve gotta throw in for BSG. Hat tip to Band of Brothers, which is indeed awesome, I’m just not particularly hyped about watching reactions to it.

If you hadn't already teased us with Band of Brothers I would have easily chosen Battlestar Galactica followed by The Leftovers and True Detective. I'm itching for an episode 2 reaction for BoB as you really seemed to appreciate the first episode and your commentary as always, was on point.

I can't decide! BSG and The Leftovers are really amazing shows. I want them both. I also really liked POI, though not as much as the other 2. I would definitely stay on board for both. I did choose BSG just because there is more of it. IDK. I'm so torn. If people are grumpy about "Patreon only" then maybe you could release your reactions on YouTube a season behind or something like that.

Don’t take this the wrong way, I support you doing these reacts, and I think your heart is in the right place here. But as much as I see that you want to do something nice for the backers, and gain some more along the way, I can’t support cutting off videos from your regular fans. I think that’s a little disrespectful to them, and I think there are better ways to achieve what you want.

Person of Interest just cause it’s an amazing show. It also has Michael Emerson giving a completely different yet brilliant performance.

person of interest is also a series i remember fondly of, like lost. A series with the amazing Benjamin Linus as one of the main characters in the show. I think you would enjoy it.

BSG WOULD BE GREAT TO REWATCH WITH JIMMY!!! Leftovers would be interesting too, though that music makes me cry basically every time I hear it. Even when I'm just hearing it in my head (yup, tearing up now.). Super depressing but beautiful show.

THE LEFTOVERS! Personally, I found S1 rough at times because it made me so angry, but when it embraced the absurdity of the premise I fell in love with it. It has produced some of the best, most ambitious episodes of television period and is one of my all-time favorite shows.
