I just want to mention also the whole Venice-King dynamic/friendship. Venice is obviously on King's side but she tries to reign King just a little with how it is with Marahuyo - that King cannot just expect immediate change with his level of passion and activism. Same with King. Venice has this new found freedom of expression but at the same try to guide Venice to the plight of the community and that some things are needed to change for them to continue to express themselves freely.
